We are a small animal practice in Hertfordshire, established in the early 1960s. Your pets are our priority and our friendly team of vets and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals.
Gillian qualified from the University of Edinburgh in 1985 and has been working at Attimore since 1990. She especially enjoys medicine and dermatology cases. At home she has two cats called Buster and Timmy and in her spare time enjoys watching films, playing golf and spending time with her two sons.
Marianne Dorn BVM&S PGCertSART MRCVS
Marianne qualified from Edinburgh University in 1996 and started working at Attimore in the same year. Since having a family she has been working part-time, mainly on a Saturday morning at the Potters Bar and Wheathampstead branches. Marianne has a special interest in lameness and reduced mobility and had gone on to qualify as a small animal physiotherapist through Nottingham University in 2015. In her spare time, Marianne may be found sketching, playing music with friends or spending time with her family.
Dr Marc Festraets MRCVS
Marc qualified in 1988 from Cureghem, ULG in Belgium and moved to the UK after doing his military service in 1990. He started at Attimore in 2008. His main clinical interest is soft tissue surgery and at home has two cats called Gravel and Olive and a tortoise called Max. He has two daughters and in his spare time enjoys photography, travelling, mountain hiking and skiing.
Dr Zoe Judd BVetMed MRCVS
Zoe qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 1998 and has been at Attimore since 2009. She has a particular interest in feline medicine and is one of our Feline Advocates at the practice. Her favourite thing about being a vet is seeing the owner-pet bond and meeting all our amazing patients. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, yoga, adventuring in the mountains and music.
Dr Gemma Satchell BVetMed MRCVS
Gemma started working for Attimore in 2015 after graduating from the Royal Veterinary College. She has a miniature Schnauzer at home called Tetley and in her spare time enjoys going to the gym and riding. Her veterinary interests include imaging and surgery.
